Aligned with the theme “Beyond Dreams Into New Frontiers/Inspire, Imagine, Innovate,” Chemyunion’s new studies include biological moisturizers and its mechanism of action. The aim of this study was to understand comprehensively the biological moisturizing mechanism of action. The study developed a specific experimental design, applying advanced in vitro, ex vivo and clinical trials, according to the company.


The company also investigated new technology to obtain a cosmetic active with the advantage of the mechanical properties of fibroin for hair treatment. The objective of this research was to develop a cosmetic active based on fibroin to improve the mechanical properties besides providing resistance boost in different hair types, damaged or not.
